Seven Mile Beach, located in the Cayman Islands, is widely known as one of the best beaches in the world, with its crystal clear waters and soft white sand. But it’s also home to great restaurants offering both international and local cuisine.
Here are some of our favourite places to eat during your stay on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman:
Craft F&B
First up is Craft F&B – our favourite Cayman gastropub. Their constantly evolving menus offer unique twists on classic dishes and cocktails, generous salads, and signature entrées. Enjoy Canadian classics (perogy, poutine, and more!) alongside an impressive selection of craft beers. To top it off, Craft F&B’s Happy Hour runs from 4 pm to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
Good for: A casual weekend brunch
Our highlight: Plant-based and vegan dishes, including poutine
Drink of choice: Ask your server about the selection of IPAs
Saltwater Grill
Next on the list is Saltwater Grill. This SMB restaurant offers a variety of seafood dishes and sumptuous cocktails. This is a great hang-out spot with alfresco dining available on their patio. It’s the perfect venue for an intimate dinner or a girls’ night out!
Good for: Unwinding with a drink before dinner
Our highlight: The oven-roasted mushrooms are to die for.
Drink of choice: With a daily happy hour (4 pm-6 pm), why not try them all?
Bonfire Urban Kitchen
Bonfire is another excellent venue in the heart of the Seven Mile Beach corridor. This lively cafe offers excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, fresh juices, smoothies and coffee, sandwiches, and even pizza!
Good for: A late breakfast after an early morning swim
Our highlight: You can’t go wrong with a pepperoni pizza. Grab it fresh from 11 am!
Drink of choice: Try the Refresher juice for a taste of something different.
Fresh Kitchen & Coffee
Fresh is an excellent spot for those looking for some lighter fare to pick up. They specialise in delicious, healthy dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. They offer an array of salads, sandwiches, wraps, and a selection of smoothies and juices. Try their mango green smoothie bowl for a refreshing treat.

Our highlight: Their poke bowl is unbelievably fresh.
Drink of choice: Their Fresh Green Smoothie is delicious
Lone Star Bar & Grill
Last but certainly not least is Lone Star. Established in 1985, Lone Star Bar & Grill has been a stalwart landmark on the Seven Mile Beach corridor. As one of Cayman’s most prominent sports bars, there isn’t a bad seat in the house for watching all your favourite teams from the NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA, UFC, and more!
Good for: Watching the big game
Our highlight: Lone Star is known for their baby back ribs – worth a try before you leave!
Drink of choice: Their famous beergarita – refreshing at any time of the day.
